December 1st, 2012, Chobhi launched its online store, www.chobhi.com, and its debut collection called Prakriti. Combining its own photography with traditional Indian
craftsmanship, Chobhi has created a collection that captures the beautiful
colours and patterns found in nature. The collection features 7 graphic, colourful scarves on 100% cotton mulmul, pure silk chiffon and wool silk.
Chobhi was founded in 2012 by Ronjiny Basu
and Tanima Majumdar. Chobhi’s scarves are made to order exclusively for Chobhi. Both founders have drawn from their Indo-Canadian
heritage to share their passion for photography & design with an audience
that values art.
Creative Director and Co-founder Tanima says, “Our wish is
that our pictures connect with your heart.”
